Come on in, the water’s warm - learn to swim in the world of Web 2.0 but please keep between the flags!
”How can I promote learning beyond the four walls of my classroom?"
This is an opportunity to examine and discuss how one educator and an administrator have practically harnessed and examined opportunities of classroom blogging with students. Many educators globally are examining the intimate and persuasive communication tools of Web 2.0 and in particular blogging. This 45 minute presentation exposes the richness such communication technologies can offer together with the risks associated when diving in and shares some strategies to minimise these to best manage our ‘duty of care’ responsibilities.
