Membership Information

CEGSA membership is open to all South Australian educators and those interested in education. Membership is either individual or organisational through an educators' place of work.

Individual members may choose between full membership and Publications Only membership. Individual membership may be claimed as a tax deduction.

Individual membership
Members are entitled to membership rates or discount for professional learning activities, events and offers, including the Notebook scheme, state and national conferences, have access to the Members Only section of the CEGSA web site and are members of the CEGSA chat list.

Publications membership
This form of membership is available for those who do not have access or do not wish to take part in CEGSA professional learning activities. Publications members are entitled to one copy of all publications, have access to the Members Only section of the CEGSA web site and are members of the CEGSA chat list.

Student membership
Full time student members will receive the National Journal twice a year, are entitled to membership rates or discount for professional learning activities, events, state and national conferences, have access to the Members Only section of the CEGSA website and are members of the CEGSA chat list.

Organisations can choose either of two levels of membership:

Level A - Organisational membership
This membership level is generally for schools. Two people from a school or organisation will be able to attend professional learning activities and events at membership rates or discount. Schools will also be able to purchase up to 5 notebooks per round, through our scheme. Members at this level will receive one copy of the ACCE Journal and are able to access the Members Only section of the CEGSA web site and the nominated contact person is a member of the CEGSA chat list.

OR
Level B - Organisational membership
This membership level is generally for schools and other organisations. Members at this level will have access to unlimited number of staff attending professional learning activities, events and offers at member/discount rates, including the notebook scheme and 2 members at discount rates to the annual State conference. Members will receive one copy of the ACCE Journal and, are able to access the Members Only section of the CEGSA web site. The nominated contact person is a member of the CEGSA chat list

The membership fee includes the Australian Council for Computers in Education (ACCE) capitation fee of $13.20
