Abstract:
Schools around the world have been attempting 1:1 for more than 10 years now. What are they getting right and wrong? Where is there guidance to do this successfully? Who’s doing it well?
In the end, it is not about the technology as the title suggests, it’s about the people. 1:1 computing can only be successful when the people in the school, the students, staff, parents and industry partners all line up to innovate, take risks and change their mundane practices to something that is compelling for all.
