Enver is based in the ‘Learning Technologies’ branch of the Department of Education and Children’s services  whose vision is to ‘engage learners, create new learning opportunities and extending interactions with local and global communities anytime, anywhere’.

Abstract:  Videoconferencing is technology that allows two or more locations to interact together via two-way video and audio transmissions simultaneously. DECSvc is a professional grade video and audio conferencing system using Polycom hardware and software where users connect together via a video conference bridge. It is best suited for face to face meetings and sessions where video and audio quality is important.

How can videoconferencing add value in classrooms?

•        Daily classes

•        Sharing teachers (local delivery)

•        Distance education

•        Access to content experts

•        Virtual field trips

•        Interactive student projects

•        Professional development and training

This workshop will demonstrate the capabilities of desktop videoconferencing with a live session
