The role of the Editor of RAMpage is far reaching and involves compiling a print based journal, encompassing organisation of graphic design, desktop publishing, writing, proof reading, editing, print coordination and calling for articles. Publication of this journal requires an average commitment of between two and four hours per week.
The role of the Editor is to...
- Publish RAMpage four times each year.
- Establish publishing dates at the beginning of each year to suit the editor and CEGSA activities.
- Call for articles for RAMpage from members and other sources.
- Collate RAMpage and provide editorial comment.
- Provide a copy of the proposed journal to the CEGSA office for proof reading before final publishing.
- Coordinate with printing company and CEGSA office re printing and distribution.
- Manage the publication within the budget.
