Digital Storytelling and Deep Learning

This workshop will introduce the digital storytelling genre and look at how it can facilitate deep learning. You will look at Dr Helen Barratt's work in this area, be introduced to Photostory, Photofiltre, Audacity and Windows MovieMaker software and create your own digital story with a soundtrack. Be sure to bring your own digital photos on a USB disc for this task. All participants will have access to a computer.
The presenter Colin Luscombe is a DECS Learning and Teaching with the Internet Coach with many years experience as an ICT Coordinator in schools.
Nibbles will be provided, be quick limited to 12 participants.
