Blogs have become an important feature of the educational technology landscape, both as a versatile tool in the classroom and a reflective and connecting professional learning tool for educators.

Blogging For Professional Learning  [Article]

Blogging can be a fantastic tool for professional reflection and connection. Educators from all around the world are involved in this conversation about each other's practice, exchanging of ideas and discussion of new and emerging trends. You don't have be a blogger to enjoy reading these cutting edge practitioners from all sectors and situations in education - you may even be motivated to leave a comment to join in!

Here are a few of our CEGSA member blogs that are a good starting point:

Yvonne Murtagh

Peter Ruwoldt

Kerrie Smith

Graham Wegner

To complement the article written for RAMpage earlier in 2007, you can view the screencast below as an updated version exploring and expanding the concepts associated with Blogging for Professional Learning. The slides and audio are from a presentation given by Graham Wegner at the "Live To Learn, Learn To Blog" event in Melbourne, August 2007.

And don't forget, if you would like to, you can usually follow a blog with an RSS reader, aggregator, or just add it to your links in Firefox. See RSS and all that for more information.
