IWB (smartboard) for beginners

This course will go through many of the basics for those just starting out
with a Smartboard (may also be relevant for other brands). From switching
on to creating interesting lessons, the session will be very hands on and
numbers will be limited to ensure all participants are considered.
First come first serve basis for first 15.
Although there will be some work on the nuts and bolts and basic logistics
of the board and Notebook software, we will also explore, as a priority,
the important ways these tools might enhance teaching and learning.
This session would suit those who are wanting a board, have recently
begun to use one or who feel they would like revision of the basics.
The presenter, Judy Beal, is Assistant Principal, Learning in the Digital Age, at Woodcroft Primary and has many a story to tell.

This workshop will be held at Woodcroft Primary School and participants will have access to multiple computers 1:1. Afternoon tea will be provided from 4:15pm.
